LeapFrog is of course made up of 2 kiwis, 2 frogs, neither of who are completely fluent in each others languages. The French are known for being passionate, but the kiwis are sick of losing to the French at important moments! Although we are savouring this moment to have an insider’s view into each other’s country, we leave as one team, but two very competitive groups.

Benji

Benji has spent 15 months living in Lyon France, but has made a bit of a hash of learning the language. A determination to learn the language and an intense curiosity in France and the French means LeapFrog Voyage is the ideal way to see the country from a Frenchman’s point of view. Highlights: French meals that last 6 hours or more…

Mark has already travelled much of the world, but joining LeapFrog Voyage means leaving the security of a good job in a London architect’s firm. Speaking no French at all, Mark will be in charge of explaining everything kiwi to the Frogs.

tonito

Antoine has enjoyed moving around and learning languages his whole life speaking French (of course), English, German, and some Spanish. Proud of his French ‘charm’, he is hoping some will rub off on the kiwis on their tour to the otherside of the world. Highlights: Iran, India, and spending christmas on the beach.

Max, lover of 1970′s suits, nicknamed ‘the brain’ for his encyclopaedic knowledge, leaves a cushy French bank job with half a year of holidays to traverse the world with two kiwis he doesn’t really know. Highlights: Creepily enough, Max finds old people in each different country the most interesting part of travelling, and intends to produce a photo album of old people around the world.
